The site is situated within 50k HAs of virgin coconut farms. Truecoco has worked with an established farmer network in the area since 2017, from which Truecoco will source coconut husk to make high quality virgin biochar.
The site capacity of up to 7.5k MTs of biochar, p.a, removing more than 15k MTs of CO2e per year. The site will be certified under the Puro standard.
